Lisa Gabriele was born in Belle River, Ontario.
She has worked at the CBC as a producer, writer, radio researcher,
and a reporter. Her work has appeared in The New York
Times Magazine,
National Post, Washington Post, The
Globe and Mail, and Vice
Magazine, among other publications, and she is a frequent
contributor to Nerve magazine. Gabriele lives in Toronto, where
she's at work
on her second book. Tempting Faith DiNapoli
is her first novel, published by Anchor Canada, in 2003. Lisa
Gabriele writes about
the pains of youth with uncommon confidence and insight.
