Angelo Sfalcin was born in 1911, in Italy. He immigrated with his family to Canada from Friuli in 1950-1951. Angelo was a construction worker (bricklayer) in Windsor. When he retired, Sfalcin started doing miniatures, made to a scale of 10:1. He worked on miniatures, including a horse-drawn cart and yoke, which function like the full-sized ones, etc. The miniatures were built in Canada, in the way that he remembered life in the old days in Italy. Sfalcin worked on the miniatures for about 20 years until he died at the age of 90, in 2000.
