| John Recchia was born in Creticcio Casalvieri
(in the province of Frosinone), Italy in 1948. His professor, De Donates,
at the Istituto Professionale per Mobilieri Ebanista, recognized John’s talents and encouraged
him to pursue his passion for woodworking. John immigrated to Canada
in 1965. He began working for Trend Millwork and went on to develop
his craft at various other woodworking shops. John and Raffaele L’Europa,
a master woodworker, created many beautiful homes both in Canada
and the United States. Later, in 1972, John started his own woodworking
business. John’s Woodworking has provided the
opportunity and honour to use his God-given talents, to design and
create many beautiful public and private works. Amongst these are
the Ciociaro Club, St. Angela Merici Church and many exclusive private
homes. |
