Ken Minello was a hockey player from 1984 to 1989. He was Team Captain in 1987-1988 and 1988-1989. Minello was awarded the Olympic Shield in 1987-88 and named All-Canadian Player in 1987-88 (the first player in Lancer history to do so). He was the CIAU's Most Gentlemanly Player in 1988-89.

In the 1984-85 season, he was 2nd in the League in points. As a Lancer he had 113 goals, 125 assists for 238 points and these are all Lancer records. He was second in OUAA history in goals, and fourth in OUAA history in points.
