  Athlete - Assumption College (which became University of Windsor) - Basketball

Leo Innocente was team captain and Most Valuable Player of the Men's Lancer Basketball in 1959, with an average 14.6 points per game. He won an "A" Award in 1976. The Lancers won the Ontario Quebec Athletic Association Championship, 1959, under his leadership.

He was a top Basketball official in Canada, and conducted referee clinics and workshops. He is a Trustee of the Essex County Sports Hall of Fame.
