Pat Ciccone
was born in Solano, Reggio Calabria, in 1906. He came to Canada
in 1922, where he resided for six years. In 1928, Ciccone returned
to Italy to get married. He returned to North America with his
wife, Maria, and settled in New York for five years. Pat and his
wife decided to return to Canada in 1935.
Music was his passion, and the expression of this art was
the sound of his accordion. His face was always smiling and radiant
during his performance. He opened a musical instrument store
in Windsor. Later, Ciccone started teaching music lessons, passing
on the talent to the new generations.

Pat Ciccone's accordion was
often heard in Windsor's clubs, festivals, and celebrations. He was
frequently accompanied by his brother, Frank Ciccone, and together
they expressed the elegant sound of their music.
Pat Ciccone was generous,
happy, friendly, and ready to help in sad circumstances. |
