The Calabria Club was founded in April, 1972, as a result of the formation of the "Calabria" soccer team, and incorporated on January 23, 1973. The Calabria Club building , located at 900 Howard Avenue, at the corner of Niagara Street, was constructed for the purpose of fostering educational, cultural, recreational and social activities, as well as to provide public assistance and services to the whole Italian community of Windsor and environs. The members of the CALABRIA CLUB, conscious of the duties and responsibilities towards this vast Canadian nation, were proud to work assiduously in a harmonious coexistence with all ethnic groups, for the attainment of their common objectives and the recognition of the great and glorious Italian traditions. Note: This Club no longer operates.
