Corinne Brown was raised in Windsor, Ontario. She received her Masters of Arts in history and has gone on to pen poems, plays and children’s fiction. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and of the Michigan Playwrights Association. She also visits schools, children’s programs and other events to present ‘RESPECT’ a lesson in respecting people and their differences.

Her first children’s novel “The Stowaway on the Titanic” was published in 2003 by All For One Press. It tells the story of

two orphans, both 12 years of age, who are aboard the Titanic for its tragic journey. The narrator, Leroy, is a black orphan from London, England who is seeking an adoptive family and an education in America. Ms. Brown has recently adapted the novel into a play.
