Rose Daley was born in Kingston, Jamaica, on
March 19, 1971. She came to Windsor at age 10. She attended
Victoria Public Elementary School, and Kennedy Collegiate Institute
(1985-1990), where she was a 3-time All-City soccer selection,
and a member of the Clippers City Championship team in 1989.
She received an Athletic Scholarship to attend the University
of Hartford, in Connecticut. At the time of her graduation,
she ranked #3 All-Time at Hartford in career goals. After graduation
she became a member of the Canadian National Team, competing
in the World University Games in 1993. |

In 1994 she played for the UMEA Team in the Swedish
Professional League. In 1995 she played in the Japan Professional
League for the Tokyo team |
|
Fujita Mercury. The team
won the All-Japan Tournament, and Rose assisted on the winning
goal. She returned to Windsor in 1996, and coached the Forster
High School Senior Girls Soccer Team, and continued to play soccer
as a member of the Eastside Kickers.
