Abdullah the Butcher was born Larry Shreve in
Windsor, Ontario January , 1, 1936. He grew up on McDougall
Street. He entered the world of professional wrestling in 1967
as Abdullah the Butcher the wildman of the Sudan.
Among his many titles he was named the Montreal International
Champion four times and the Stampede North American Champion
five times. He gained fame and fans as his reputation for blood
and theatrics became notorious. His appearances often included
injuries inflicted with a large fork. He still bears |

prominent scars on his forehead from these injuries.
Larry Shreve also wrestled in Japan under the name Kuroi Jujutsushi
or Black Wizard. He is now a successful
businessman
in Atlanta, Georgia. His business ventures include a radio station,
a church |
