Howard Olbey
Four sons of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Olbey of 131 King Street
, Windsor, served in WWII. George, Howard, Wilfred and Orville
all served in different units. Howard is pictured here. Howard
Leroy Olbey was born in Chatham, Ontario on May 8, 1918 and
enlisted in Chatham on April 9, 1942. He served in Canada as
a Craftsman. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal
and War Medal 1939 – 1945.

Pte. M. Proctor – Killed
Private Joseph Martel Proctor, son of John Weseley Proctor and Margeary
Proctor of Windsor, Ontario was a former student at Patterson High School. Private
Proctor served with the Lincoln and Welland Regiment, R.C. I.C. in WWII.
He was killed September 9, 1944 at the age of 21. Private Joseph Martel
Proctor is interred in Adegem Canadian War Cemetery. To view the Commonwealth
