Hilda Watkins

Hilda Watkins received a Bachelor of Education Degree at the University of Windsor. She received the Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002. She has served on many committees including the Retirement Planning, Joint Occupational Health and Safety, Budget, Professional Development and Status Committees. In 1996 she served as the Chairperson of the Public Relations Committee. She was the 2nd Vice President from 1996 to 1998. In 2000 she became the 1st Vice President of the Greater Essex Elementary Teachers Federation.

Ms. Watkins has also been active in the community in many ways. She was a Coach of a Girl’s Softball team from 1974-77. She coached in the Riverside Minor Baseball Association from 1981-83. She was also a coach of a girl’s volleyball team from 1983-85. She has also been a Convener of the Windsor Cancer Society - Daffodil Campaign since 1987.
