Glenn Morris Watkins was an employee of Ford Motor Company and Chrysler Canada. He was very involved in the union movement. He took on a leadership role in the development of the C.A.W. Local 444 Recreational Program. He was involved in organizing the Local 444 Bob-Lo Picnic.

Mr. Watkins greatly enjoyed being involved in sports and recreation in the area. He was involved in the creation of the Local 444 youth bowling league. He also participated in the development of the member bowling, fastball and hockey leagues. He coached many little league baseball teams.
