Foundations: The African Canadian Connection has been developed
in partnership with the African Canadian Community Centre of Windsor
and Essex County. Nancy Allen, Chair of the Special Projects Committee,
has headed up the project for the centre and has donated countless
hours and enormous effort to ensure the successful completion of

their cherished photographs, memorabilia, and loving recollections
of African Canadian history and heritage. It is these contributions
